Five performances of “Baltimore, You Have No Idea” have sold out. Tickets are $27 and still available for the remaining December performance. Thank you to those who purchased tickets, and we look forward to seeing all of you — and more of you — at the Meyerhoff Auditorium of the Baltimore Museum of Art. (BMA members receive a discount on ticket purchases.)
About the play: “Baltimore, You Have No Idea” is a 90-minute stage play, written by Baltimore Sun columnist Dan Rodricks, that brings to life some of the many stories Rodricks has told while writing one of the longest-running — if not the longest running — local newspaper columns in the nation. All stories and roles are drawn from Rodricks’ published work about Baltimore life over the last 44 years. The columnist plays himself and is joined by a cast of seven and a pianist, Mat Lane, who composed original music for transitions between the play’s nine scenes. “Baltimore, You Have No Idea” played to three sellout audiences in December 2022, and Len Lazarick of MarylandReporter.com called it, “one of the best 90 minutes of live theater I’ve experienced in recent years.” The play is in revival this December, again in the 350-seat Meyerhoff Auditorium of the Baltimore Museum of Art.
