In this, the Year of Eating Chesapeake Catfish, Chef Nancy Longo of Pierpoint Restaurant in Fells Point will be hosting two Nights of Eating Chesapeake Catfish, specifically the invasive blue catfish that you’ve been hearing so much about (from me and others). There will be great eats in a multi-course meal and a discussion of the Chesapeake fishery and its history. Learn some fun facts and have a good meal. I’ll be there both nights (and paying my own way!)

Menu includes the Crab Corn Coddie that Nancy and I created a couple of years ago; Blue Catfish Maryland “with a smattering of crab imperial, a chive lemon butter and a silver queen corn pancake”; a salad; and minis of Hausner’s pie, chocolate tops and Smith Island cake.
