
There were many good, interesting and moving poems presented at Baltimore’s historic Senator Theatre the other night — poetry and prose from members of one of the Glenwood Life Counseling Center recovery groups — but the one I offer in this space, as a tonic for our troubled times, is “The Color Blue” by Angela Cook (in photo). . . . Before we get there, a brief announcement: Lia Purpura leads the weekly poetry group at Glenwood. “Resilience In Verse: Poetry Night on York Road” was supported by the York Road Improvement District, the Maryland State Arts Council and the Senator Theatre.
