Rapid Lemon Productions will continue its 2025 season in July with Variations on Night, an evening of 12 short plays by local authors. Produced each year since 2005, The Variations Project is an annual highlight of the Baltimore theatrical calendar.

Performances will be at Strand Theater, 5426 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214. Tickets are general admission, $25. A special discounted “Industry Night” performance is just $15, on Monday, July 14.

Established in 2012, Rapid Lemon Productions is a nonprofit theater company whose mission is to develop and present new work that promotes representation of and participation by the community it serves.

Variations on Night features plays by Felicia Barr, Janis Beltran, Tad Cleaves, Dwight R.B. Cook, Iman Michele Dancy, Isaiah C. Evans, Clarinda Harriss, Allegra Hatem, Jalice Ortiz-Corral, Meri Robie, Jonathan Tycko, and Kristen Wheeler. Lauren Davis (The Book of Grace, 2024) directs an ensemble cast of Pablo Akira, Isaiah C. Evans, Devon Michelle Hernandez, Anthony Ross Ocampo, ReginaGinaG, and Sarah Lynn Taylor.
